Back by popular demand, please join us for the second Vegan X Archie Rose pop-up dinner in the glow of copper barrels at Sydney's first independent distillery since the 1850s. The evening will celebrate local produce, serving a seasonal four-course dinner with matched drinks infused with Australian botanicals. This will be an intimate occasion, with space for only 20 guests, so book early so you don't miss out.
Food by chef Eddie Stewart from Black Star Pastry, all locally sourced.
Drinks by Archie Rose, distilled just metres from the dining table.
Pre-dinner cocktail from 6:30pm, seated for dinner at 7pm.
$125 for four-course vegan dinner and matched drinks.
The evening's menu:
On arrival: Seasonal crudite and dips
Drink: Archie Rose signature dry gin and bush tonic
Entree: Celeriac soup with mushroom duxelle croute and fresh celery leaf
Drink: Archie Rose original vodka and grapefruit genitian soda
Mains:
Fregola pasta with with almond pesto, shaved raw vegetables and bio cheese
Warming lentil ragu
Maple pecan roast sweet potato
Steamed warrigal greens with tahini and nuts
Drink: Rolf Binder Shiraz 2012, Barossa Valley
Dessert:
Chocolate popcorn fudge cake
Blood orange self-saucing pudding
Drink: "Port of Sydney" Rum and macadamia old fashioned
